Moving along...

Well a lot has been going on in our lives over the past few months. First Ryan had a birthday and turned 32! Then I got a job and MedUSA doing medical billing. This has been both hard and exciting The boys now go to day care and has been harder on Caleb than Ethan. Every day that I talk to Caleb on the phone he sounds so sad. He always asks if I can pick him up now. That has been really hard, but he seems to be doing a lot better with it. Ethan likes to be with his friends when he goes, but has a hard time now and then. I sure love my kids!
Work has been good and I'm doing well at it. It have been interesting to get back involved in a work environment. Though as hard as it is to leave the kids everyday, it is also fulfilling to be working on something else as well.

Ethan has been really excited about Ryan's new ipod that he got for his birthday. Ethan is very good at playing all the games on it. His faviorte is the motorcycle game. He is better than I am. What a fun time. Our kids are so big that they are over 100% in their height and weight. I can't believe how fast time has gone and how big they are.

I'm so glad that I get to be their Mom and have these special boys in my life. They really keep me going. (They are very active!) They are so excited for Halloween that we already bought them a month ago. I can't wait to take them treat or treating this year. Ethan is going to be a tiger and Caleb is going as a spider. They are so cute!

Ryan has started his own business RJ Holt Construction. He is enjoying working for himself. We are very proud of him for taking this on. He is such a wonderful, husband and father. We all enjoy having him around with us.

24th of July

We have been moving things around lately. We moved some of Grandpa Roly's things out of the house and down to his new house in Salem, UT. Then we moved our things out of the storage unit and put in into the house. It only took two cars, Ryan's truck and my van, and ten trips! We have been pretty tired over the whole thing. Then we also helped Ryan's Uncle Johnathan move things into his new house as well. I think that we have been done nothing but moving things around for the past few weeks.
Caleb on the 24th of July in Wallsburg park. We took the kids up to enjoy the party that the town where I grew up has every year. They really enjoyed it. They have hamburgers and a rodoe there as well. Always a good time for the kids.

Here are the boys and Haley and Maddie on Grandpa Breeze's four wheeler in the praride. They got to go in the two mile paraide this year with their cousins. They loved waving at all the people.

Park City Condo

I've put on a few posts so make sure that you read them as well. We got to go up to Park City and spend some time in a condo, Sweetwater Lodge. I spent the days up there and Ryan came up some nights. Steve (Grandpa Holt) also came up for a night to go swimming with the boys. This is a picture of Ethan in his swimming suit and blow up ring. He did so well swimming.

Here is a picture of Caleb. He is always up on the counter trying to help me cook. He was trying to open the corn and didn't know how. He is very fun to have around because there is never a dull moment with him. He is always moving, unless he is tired and that doesn't happen very much. We had so much fun there, just to get away from it all. It was also a nice time for me to relax just a little. (How do you ever relax when you have a 3 and 4 year old, unless they are asleep?)

Like I said, they had a tone of fun going swimming! I love these kids so much. They really are a ton of fun to be around. I keep getting surprised of some of the things they say. Like Caleb at dinner. "Shake, shake, shake your boodie!" HAHAHA. We had a good laugh. Ethan singing funny songs like Ryan. (They like to put in their own words.) I love watching them learn and seeing their faces when they see new things. Ryan shaved all the hair off this face the other day and Ethan asked him why he looked like Adam. He is such a crack up! Anyway, I just love being their Mom.

Fish Lake camping

We took the boys fishing at Fish Lake. This was our fist real camping trip of the year. After we go there we took the boat out for a ride. I caught a fish that was to small and Caleb was asleep on my lap. We had had a long drive to get there and of course the kids didn't fall asleep on the way. The next day it rained all day, but we still found ways to have fun. We took Ryan's new chainsaw and found some old fallen trees to cut for firewood. While we were doing that, I found a salamander. We couldn't believe it, because it was so far away from a pond. Ethan asked if he could hold the Alligator. We took the salamander to a pond on our way back to the campsite. The kids had a lot of fun. We were wishing for warmer weather so that Ryan could have gone scuba diving.
The boys in the rain.
This is the view from our campsite. Not bad, huh?

Caleb's 3rd Birthday!

Whoops wrong picture. This was before his birthday at the Holt's. They have the sprinkler on the tramp. They took their clothes off, except the underwear. (At least this time they kept it on!) Fun during the summer!

We took the kids to Wheeler Farm for Caleb's birthday. They got to milk a cow. Ethan was all ready for his turn and did a really good job. I sat with Caleb for him to milk and he didn't want to touch the cow. It was very cute. I did end up helping him with it, but he didn't want to touch it to much. Caleb choose the color of his cupcakes. He wanted yellow because he loves Bumblebee (Transformer). Ryan and TJ played frisbee almost the whole time. They really enjoyed themselves. The kids also enjoyed playing the the little stream and getting all wet. (I didn't enjoy that as much.)

Frisbee Park

This is the river by the frisbee park that Ryan used to go to a lot as a younger man. We took the kids one day just to show them around and for them to have fun. We made sure that they stayed away from the water in case you were nervous. For some reason, Ethan lately loves to put his hands up or make a funny face when I take his pictures.
They also liked the playground that was there.
This is a merry go round that was there, as you can see, Ethan likes it better than Caleb. This one is a little weird to me. How are you to say on? Not what you would call easy.

Zoo!

We went to the zoo again today (May 1st). It was Grandma Holt's birthday, so we took her with us. We had a fun time at the zoo again. The boys always like to see the animals. I have almost the same picture of me when I was little by the lion drinking fountain. I'm sure that my Mom has it somewhere. The boys love to play on the play ground that they have at the zoo as well.

Here is Caleb on the catapiller at the park. He also loves playing on the spider that is behind him. Caleb says some of the cutest things sometimes. We were in the car the other day when I asked Ethan who the first president of the USA was. He told me he didn't know, so I asked Caleb and he said, "George Washington." I couldn't believe that he remembered when I had talked to them about it a month or so ago. Now they both remember who the George Washington is.
Ethan loves to play on the play ground at the park. He is getting so big now. We were in the truck driving yesterday when Ethan says to Caleb, "You're Susan Boyle!" Then Caleb said it back to him and it went on like this for awhile. For those of you who don't know who Susan Boyle is, she was on Britains Got Talent. She was trying out for it. Look on U Tube for her. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9lp0IWv8QZY&feature=related

Anyway, we are still trying to move forward.

Day Outing

We decided one weekend that we wanted to get out of the city and go for a drive. We decided to take our gun with us and shoot some clay pigeons. Ryan is really good at this. I think maybe he only missed two or three. I on the other hand, am used to non moving targets. I finally got it at the end.

I like this picture of Ryan. I think he looks great. We found this awesome place to go. It looks like others have found it fun as well.
This is Ethan playing on the hill. He was finding lot of fun things to play with, until he found a piece of glass that cut his finger. It's a good thing that Mom comes prepared! We got him all fixed up and having a treat to make him feel better. Can you see Caleb? He is wearing camo. He is our kid that loves the dirt. He also likes to wander. We have to keep a special eye on him where ever we go. (I guess this is his way to make our life funner!)
We had lots of fun. Ryan especally loved driving his truck into the huge puddles on the road. The water came over the truck. It got pretty dirty. We love being in the outdoors and hope to have may more trips like this to come. The kids are so excited to go camping this year.

Lost Camera!!!

OK, so I'm sorry that I haven't been keeping up with this, but I lost my camera! I know that it's not the best camera, but it's all we have.
So we've had Ethan's birthday, then he learned how to ride his bike without training wheels. He loves doing this and is so excited about it! He wants to ride all the time! Ethan does so well. Ryan put him on the bike, gave him a little push and he was on his way! OK, I got this picture off my phone camera! I feel like I'm totally awesome now!

Caleb on the other hand is getting potty trained. He is really excited about it! Sometimes he just gets to busy though. (Caleb doesn't stop!) He has been having lots of fun trying to be like big brother, but he also wants to have his independence. What a kid!
All in all we've had a wonderful time with the snow gone. (Ryan still goes up in the mountains to find it so he can snowmobile.) We had a wonderful time at the park for Adam's (Ryan's older brother) birthday party. It was really fun!

The things kids say...

On March14, (Saturday) Ethan and I were laying on the trampoline at the Holt's house. We were talking about the seeds that were growing on the tree. He turned to me and said "I just don't get this life." So trying not to laugh, because sometime do we really understand this life? I asked him what about it. He said, well, there are firetrucks, tree's etc... and just kept naming things. It was so cute. That Monday, I asked him about it again and he told me that "I get this life now." It was just so cute!
On March 18, Grandma Lafawn Holt passed away (Ryan's Grandma). We were driving in the car when Ethan asked me about it. I told him that we were going to have a funeral and put Grandma in the cemetery. Then Ethan said, "Until Jesus comes?" I said yes. I couldn't believe that he said that! It was a total shock. It was so cute. I asked he who taught him that and he said that I did. I don't remember telling him that. But my Uncle Danny passed away almost a year ago (a very sad time for me) and I think I might have talked to him about it then. It is just so amazing that he says things like that.
Caleb had a dirty diaper the other day and I asked him who he would like to change him. He said Mommy. (I didn't really want to, that is why I asked) So I then asked why do you what Mommy do to it? He said, "Because you do it the best!" I was laughing. That was just so unexpected for him to say that.
We enjoy having our kids. They are so fun to be around and say some really amazing and funny things. I'm sure glad that we have them.

Fun In The Sink!

OK, so here is the news. The water heater broke at the end of December. We didn't get it fixed for awhile. So we heated hot water for the kids and put them in the sink. It took me back to the days when they were babies! (Some times I wish that they were still babies.) Well I took some pictures of the boys in the sink.

Ethan with his cool hair! Ethan is 3 and will be 4 in April!

Caleb and his awesome hair! Caleb is 2 and will be 3 in June.

During the time without the water heater we went to the Midway house, (Grandpa Higbee's other house.) and to Grandpa & Grandma Holt's so we could have nice hot showers sometimes. We have had a crazy time of it all. It is fun to laugh about now that we have hot water again. But I didn't really like to have freezing cold showers and feel like I was back at girls camp. I'm finally feeling warm again after thawing out!

Christmas Snow

Ethan and Caleb playing in the Christmas snow! We love the snow! (OK not me as much as the rest of the family.) This day it had snowed a lot and we were helping the neighbors with their driveways as well as ours. This is the kids playing on the grass, they think they can shovel the snow off of it. As you can see they are all decked out in their snow clothes. We have to make sure that they are warm enough to be able to ride on the snowmobile.
This is Caleb is n the snow. He was trying to make snow angles. Then I had to go help him up because he couldn't move. Their faces were really cold after this romp in the snow.
Here is Ethan trying to shovel the snow away from the cars. (I had already done it.) We don't have a yard here so they were trying to play in the little drive way and the grass in the front. It was really cute to see them working in the snow. They were trying to make snow balls but the snow was too soft.
