On March14, (Saturday) Ethan and I were laying on the trampoline at the Holt's house. We were talking about the seeds that were growing on the tree. He turned to me and said "I just don't get this life." So trying not to laugh, because sometime do we really understand this life? I asked him what about it. He said, well, there are firetrucks, tree's etc... and just kept naming things. It was so cute. That Monday, I asked him about it again and he told me that "I get this life now." It was just so cute!On March 18, Grandma Lafawn Holt passed away (Ryan's Grandma). We were driving in the car when Ethan asked me about it. I told him that we were going to have a funeral and put Grandma in the cemetery. Then Ethan said, "Until Jesus comes?" I said yes. I couldn't believe that he said that! It was a total shock. It was so cute. I asked he who taught him that and he said that I did. I don't remember telling him that. But my Uncle Danny passed away almost a year ago (a very sad time for me) and I think I might have talked to him about it then. It is just so amazing that he says things like that.
Caleb had a dirty diaper the other day and I asked him who he would like to change him. He said Mommy. (I didn't really want to, that is why I asked) So I then asked why do you what Mommy do to it? He said, "Because you do it the best!" I was laughing. That was just so unexpected for him to say that.We enjoy having our kids. They are so fun to be around and say some really amazing and funny things. I'm sure glad that we have them.
